Pustomyty district - district, Lviv region. Located in the center of the area in the south-zahvdnomu direction from the city of Lviv. District center is the city Pustomyty. Population Pustomytovskogo district has 112,914 people. The area is 953 km. square. (The second-highest in the region).
The official date of foundation Pustomytovskogo district is 1959. Of course, in the land settlement existed long before that date. In particular, the city was founded in Pustomyty 1441.
