Kvasy. Vacation

Kvasy - a village in Ukraine, Transcarpathian region, Rakhivsky District, located on both sides of the river Tisa Black at a distance of 14 km from the district center Rakhov and 26 miles from the geographical center of Europe.
Founded in 1947. The first written mention of the village dates from 1684 Kvasy year. The area is 6.470 km ². Population - 1794 persons. 
The name of the village comes from the word "leaven water", so to Hutsulia called mineral water. The village is really mineral springs, the water of which is of type "Arzni" and "Essentukov." 
The first hydropathic "Burkut" (another name for mineral water Hutsul dialect) was built in the mid-nineteenth century. Kvass is sanatorium "mountain yew", known for its medical base.
