In 1585, in place of the wooden Church on the orders of Archbishop Jan-Dimitar (1582-1603), was built a stone Church. In 1724, the Church was restored after the fire of Archbishop Jan. In 1766 the temple and he called the name of St. Stanislaus.

The Church stands in the center of the village on a high hill. Together with the castle, which has not survived, they were the defense complex of the village, in those days the city.

The painting of the vaults are 1742. Walls painted about 1766. Church and after restoration has preserved the appearance of a defensive structure. The thickness of the walls of the Church is 1.5 meters. The wall in the upper part, framed by loopholes in the form of the key. Under the ceiling houses the defensive gallery. From the Western side hosts the massive tower in three tiers. The entrances to the temple is framed with a white portals.

On the Northern wall are preserved Gothic window. The restored walls place where you can see ancient masonry.
