Zdolbuniv - the city of Rivne region, located 12 km south of Rivne.
The status of the city since 1939.  Population 24537 people.
There are several theories about the origin of the name "Zdolbuniv." One of them says that the ancient name of "Dolbuniv" comes from the word "length (L) debate." This is due to the presence of settlements on the outskirts of the chalk mines, of which the locals are "freaking" chalk and with questions: - Where are you from? - Heard the answer - with Dov (l) bunova.
