Nyzhniy Studenyi. Vacation

Nyzhniy Studenyi - a village in the intermontane region Transcarpathian region. The first name of Studenyi stream. The first mention of the village dates back to the XVI century. The village had its own feature - there lived a big yard, a few families, often not even related. As of January 1, 2013 population is 1,124 people. The surrounding land, or rather forests owned by Austrian and Hungarian magnates - Urmeze, Dovhay, Lypcha, Teleki. During the revolution of 1848-1849. Austria-Hungary, dissatisfied with the local people looted the landlord and church savings for both (Lower and Upper) village were subjected to severe punitive imperial troops. Assisted them in this war and the Russian Empire, which Nicholas I sent to suppress the Hungarian Revolution, at the request of the emperor. This was followed by several waves of migration, management Czechoslovak Government, World War II and the Hungarian occupation of the Soviet Union. In a beautiful mountain nature, Lower Studenyi boasts sacred monument of wooden architecture - the Church of the Annunciation (1820). Unfortunately, the house was also partly destroyed. Distance to the highway Volovets is 12 km and 5 km from the ski lifts in the village of Upper Studenyi.
