Osiy. Vacation

Osiy - Village Irshavsk district, Transcarpathian region. A village river Synyanka. It is home to 3,555 people. Settlement area is 40.88 km. square.

The first mention of the village of Rus (this is in the modern village Osiy) belong to the tenth century, and in 1363 the Hungarian documents first recorded name "Osiy" in connection with the spread of the plague. In 1587, the village was renamed Hungarians Osiy on Soykofolfo (folvo - a "village", as they tied jays that Osiy derived from the word "jay"). The name of the village existed until 1919, and then edge entered the composition of the Czechoslovak Republic, and was returned to the previous name.

St. Panteleimon Monastery;
Geological Reserve "Enchanted Valley".
