Podobovets - a village in the intermontane region Transcarpathian region. Podobovets situated at an altitude of 672 m above sea level. The village is located 12 km from the railway station Volovets. As of January 1, 2013 the population is 407 people. First name, middle Podobovets. Podobovets located at the foot of the Big Top (1599 m), Stoy (1678 m), Hymba (1497 m), a Jew Magura (1517 m) and the ridge Borzhava because the village is primarily known for its ski slopes. The route length of 1300 m with 320 m height differences should head down and two sleeves - right and left, which converge at the bottom of the last third of the slope. Nicholas, built in 1785, which refers to the type of baroque wooden churches of Transcarpathia. The roof of the temple is covered with tin. Local old-timers say that the church was built in the XVII century. on the opposite edge of the valley, and in 1785 moved to its present location. A couple of kilometers from the waterfall is Podobovcya spikes.
