Kostryna - Village Velikobereznyansky district, Transcarpathian region. Located on the river Izh, 15 km. from the district center. It is home to more than 1100 people. Settlement area is 49.576 km. square. It can be reached by train and by road of local importance.
The date of establishment Kostryno considered in 1549.
The main attraction of the village is the Church of the Intercession (1645, 1761). Kostrynska church belongs to the famous monuments of Ukrainian architecture. The church was built in Syanko in Lviv in 1645 as a classic Boyko, tryzrubna, having three peaks typical building with central dominant top. In Kostryno transported in 1703.
Here was born Didyk Ivan - Ukrainian Transcarpathian artist.
