Leninsky district - an area of Crimea, acting administrative center - the village of Lenin.
The resulting area since 1921. The population of the district is 63,272 residents. The area is 2,919 km ².
Since the area is located in the eastern part of Crimea, it is a significant part of the Kerch Peninsula. A feature of the area is that in the north it is washed by the Azov in the south - the Black Sea.
The population distinguished: Russians - 61.4%, Ukrainian - 17.1%, Crimean Tatars - 16.2%, other nationalities - 5.3%.
In the Leninsky district of Crimea there are 115 historical and monumental art, all - of local importance. In the area of recreation areas located 5: Arabatskaya arrow Kazantip Bay, Fr. Chokrak, g Opuk, Cape Chauda. Created 2 natural reserve.
