Yarok - a village in Uzhgorod district of Transcarpathian region, is placed on the river Gypsy.
Founded in 1600. Population 724 ooby. Area - 0.44 km ².
In written sources the village known as "Aahok" which is zmadyaryzovanym Slavic word "bunny". The name of the village, located on the increase, it is possible to associate with the terrain that ancient Slavs chose to worship the god of the sun (spring equinox) - Jari (original Yar), which symbolized youth and courage.
Yarok now known regional etnofestivalyu "Yarotskiy Yarylky" which is held annually on the lawn, from which one can see views of Mukachevo, Coastal, Chop, Uzhgorod, Wellcome Kapushan (Slovakia). Every third Sunday of July in the village festivities taking place: games, fihli, fun and different tasting. There is a fair, where their creations are winemakers, medoroby, craftsmen. Provided various master classes. The stage performances are folk-rock bands and artistic performances.
