Ovidiopol. Vacation

Ovidiopol located on the east bank of the Dniester estuary. This small town, which is the administrative center Ovidiopolskiy district, in the Odessa area.
Status village miskoho type Ovidiopol, named after Publius Nazon Ovid (Roman poet who supposedly was here in exile) received the status of 1970. As of January 1, 1970 population is 11,741 persons. Ovidiopol area 12.52 sq. km. The climate is hot in summer, warm in general, frequent droughts.
Ovidiopol is the ancient gateway route "from the Varangians to the Greeks."
