Izum - the regional center of Kharkiv region. The city was founded in 1681. The first written mention dates from the year 1571. Population over 50 thousand people. Izum - one of the largest cities in the Kharkiv region.

Through the city flows the river Seversky Donets.

In Izium is museum, which was founded in 1920.

Sights of:

• Transfiguration Cathedral, 1684 p.;

• Nicholas (1809-1823 pp.) And Ascension (1819-1826 pp.) Church;

• consecration so well.

Izyum attractive locality is Mount Kremyanets, located on Mount Memorial Hall. Also on this mountain sculpture is Polovtsian bab (XII century.).
