Vovchansk. Vacation
Vovchansk - the regional center of the Kharkiv region. Through the city flows the river Wolf. Vovchansk was founded in 1674. The first written mention of the city dates from the year 1688. Population over 19 thousand inhabitants.
The city is a museum.
Archeological Vovchansk:
• Settlement Saltov. VIII-X centuries.;
• Settlement Saltov "Chaplyyivka." VIII-X centuries.;
• Mounds. 16. III millennium BC - I millennium AD.
There is Vovchanschyny Museum "Upper Salt" (p. Upper Salt).
