Kremenchuk - is a town in Ukraine. Located in the district of Kremenchuk, Poltava region. The city is divided by the river Dnepr in the lowlands of the left bank and right bank sublime.

The date of establishment of Kremenchuk assumed in 1571, although the first mention dates back to the XIV century. The status of a city in 1649.
