Chygyryn. Vacation

Chygyryn - the regional center of Cherkassy region. The population is 9300 people. The city rivers Tyasmin and Irkliy. 
In written sources the city was first mentioned in the XVI century .. In 1592 the city was granted Magdeburg rights. Chigirin - the first capital of Ukraine under Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky. 
Museums Chyhyryn:
- Museum of Bohdan Khmelnytsky;
- Museum of Archeology Middle Dnieper.
The city is a national historical and cultural reserve "Chigirin" where there are many attractions Cossacks.
In Chyhyryn is the residence of Bogdan Khmelnitsky.

- Doroshenko - Hetman of Ukraine;
- B. Raevskii - known biophysicist, and others.
