Complex kenasa in the Great and Little kenasa kenasa was built in the XIX century by Samuel and Solomon Babović. In 1805, it completed the construction of the Great kenasa cathedral, and in 1815 still worn Karaite house of the XVI century built the Little kenasa.

Both kenasa are a type of common-walled building with windows arranged in two levels. In Great kenasa clerestory has strilchaste completion Minor - semicircular. North facade framed glazed arched galleries, verandas ("Azar"), where expected early life of the community elders.
