Tyshkivtsi - village of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Its name is derived from the name of its own Tyshko. The first written mention of the village dates back to February 12, 1448.
The population exceeds 1.5 million people. It's home Shukevychiv. The village is a museum named after R. Shukhevych.
Memorial to the village is also Demyaniv Cross (XVIII.), Located on the outskirts of the village. According to legend, there died Chumakov chieftain who brought salt.
