Prokurava - village of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Located 23 km from the district center. It was founded in 1633. In written sources first mentioned in 1638. The population is about 1200 inhabitants. Because Prokurava river Pistynka.

It is interesting for tourists to look at the oil field, and visit hydrosulfide source. There is also the village stone Dovbush.

Memorial to the village is the church of the Holy Virgin Mary, built in 1889.

Known native village is Vasily Herasymyuk - Ukrainian poet.
