It was built during 1635-1640rr. under the direction of renowned architect Andrea del Aqua at the direction of the crown hetman Stanislaw Koniecpolski. It is one of Europe's best examples of Renaissance palace of bastion fortifications. The castle has a square. From the east, south and west castle fortifications encircling band, surrounded by a deep moat and ramparts. Renaissance and Baroque castle surrounded by two parks in the north - the Italian fleet type, in the south - a regular park French type in simplified forms. Park Italian type laid on a single plan. It is characterized great taste and high artistic quality. For its creation were used fountain Parterres different types of marble sculptures. It was one of the best Baroque gardens in Ukraine.
