Natural reserve «Rostochchya» in Lviv

Park was created in 1997 and is the international reserve "Eastern Carpathians".

Its area is 19, 428 ha

The landscape Park is located at a height of 650 - 950 m above sea level. Feature of the Park is its location, which lies on three mountain ranges that cross the territory from North-West to South-East.

The average temperature in January is 2.3 C, and July 16 C.

The flora of the Park has more than 700 species of vascular plants, among them only 10% is the most rare and endangered species, 30 of which are in the red Book of Ukraine.

Here there is a red deer, ROE deer, wild boar, squirrel, a dark polecat, Fox, about 60 species of birds.

On the territory of the Park is preserved historical monuments. All the beauty of the territory and its natural values, create real opportunities for the development of the tourism industry.
