In Lviv there is a Museum devoted to the book «Rusalka Dnistrova», the first Western almanac. The Museum bears the name - the Museum of Mermaids Transnistria. The Foundation of the Museum was held in 1987. Officially, the Museum is a branch of Lviv art gallery.
The Museum exposition is placed in the bell tower of St. Dusk Church Seminary of the Church of the Greek Catholic theological Seminary where studied the creators of «Mermaids Transnistria», Markiyan Shashkevych, Ivan Vahylevych and Yakiv holovatsky. The Holy spirit, the Church was destroyed on September 15, 1939. Then the bomb with the German aircraft attacked a building of the Main post, got into the Theological Academy. Destroyed Church buildings, libraries, which killed a seminarian. There was only a bell with Baroque completion, which is an architectural monument of national importance. From 1943, and from 1990-ies there are projects of restoration of the temple.
The exposition of the Museum tells about the history of creation, the fate of the almanac, and about the social-political conditions, which were published in the book. The exposition tells about the history of the «Russian Troika»and personally its members. Near the Museum there is a monument of Markian the Shashkevych.
