The Museum «Literary lions first half of the twentieth century» is the branch of Lviv historical Museum. The Museum is situated in the house, which was built in 1937 under the project of architect S. It includes five rooms, reproducing a typical Lviv premises of the time, and exposure fill their spiritual content. The task of the new Museum, which became a separate Department at the Lviv historical Museum, is the acquaintance of visitors with the literary life of M. Lviv, in the end of XIX - first half XX centuries, which was reflected public-public and political events of region.

Indoors recreated the spirit of the epoch of Ukrainian modernism. Posters, pictures, artwork, cards, original furniture - all this creates the aura of contemporary life of artists and lovers of the literary life of the city. On the stands reflected the artistic achievements «Moldomusa»heroic poetry Riflemen, creativity repressed writers and poets, as well as the well-known names in the Ukrainian emigration.

The Museum of the first editions of writers of the society «Young Muse»: Bohdan Lepky streets, Fyodor Твердохлеб, Peter Карманский and others. In the Museum collection there are also periodicals 20-30 years, materials about «Executed Renaissance», edition of Antonych etc.

Nowadays the Museum «Literary lions first half of the twentieth century» is engaged not only the traditional Museum business. He is also a kind of literary-artistic salon, where held a meeting of creative young people with known writers, artists, painters.
