Tysmenytsia - the city of Ivano-Frankivsk region, the center of the eponymous district. The population reaches 9,700 people. The city has a river Crow. Tysmenytsia removed from the regional center of 10 km, there is the nearest railway station.

In written sources Tysmenytsia first mentioned in the 1143 year. In 1448 the city was granted Magdeburg rights.
