Borynia - Urban village, located on Biokivschyna Carpathians.Belongs to Turka district, Lviv region. Near the village is a small village Shtukovets.In the post-war times was borin center Borynskoho Drohobych district area. The first mention dates back to 1552 year.

It should be noted that the name of the village is the emphasis on the first syllable, not the second. It is a common misconception, be vigilant.

In the center of the village is a great stone church that belongs in UAPTS (Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church). This church is known as Pentecost (Holy Eucharist). Built in 1912 designed by architect Alexander Lvov Lushpynskoho. Has some features of the Romanesque style. Oriented to the north of the altar.

Also located in the village stone church of the Archangel Michael, who began its construction in 1939, designed by architect Lviv Vavzhyntsya Daychaka. But it was never completed. After the war room adapted at the local cinema. Already in 2002 began the conversion of premises for the church. 2004 ended Reconstruction.

In the village is borin Vocational School and folk art and crafts. In school for public order trained bartenders, cooks, wardens, painters, masons, wood and asphalt bark. In high school there are a lot of clubs.

In the village the landscape is Nadsyanskyy Regional Park, which is part of the International Reserve "Eastern Carpathians". This park encounter rare species of flora and fauna.
