Dobrotvir - urban village in Ukraine, located in Kam 'Janka-Bug district, Lviv region.We now hear the updated title, before the village was called Old Dobrotvor. Distance from the regional center - Lviv is 50 km.

The village was founded with a new name in 1951.The area of urban settlements is approximately three square kilometers.

Active development of the village experienced with building Dobrotvir thermal power plant. At present this power plant employs about 2000 people. This power plant is the largest thermal power plant in Lviv region.

All the infrastructure of the city rests on the financing of the thermal power plant. The area on which the town is very marshy.

Also Dobrotvor town is famous for its school, which is considered one of the largest in the Lviv region, which today has 1,300 students. Operates Music School and several kindergartens.

Also operates one of the strongest sports schools. School graduates took prizes in races and canoeing.

Renowned historian Joseph Brykaylo Dobrotvir created a unique historical museum, which exhibits collected from all over the world.
