Busk - city district type in the Lviv region. City uttered on the shores of the Western Bug River and three of its tributaries - Poltva Slotvyni and Rokitno. Busk is located 51 km from the city and 5 km from the railway station Krasne. It is home to 8,355 people. The area of the town is 3.84 miles. square.
The first written mention of the city dates from the year 1097. Busk was first mentioned in the chronicle "The Tale of Bygone Years". Throughout its history the city belonged to many owners. In 1411, the Busk as property Mazowiecki Zemovyta Prince, one of the first in Galicia received Magdeburg rights. In the 18 century. cultural and national revival contributed Bousquet Nicholas Brotherhood, which opposed the restrictions Polish lords.
