Park «Walk» is one of the largest biggest Park complexes of the city, situated close to the streets of Lychakiv district.Name of the Park comes from Ukrainian word «walk», which means «the stroll» and «fun».
Near by Park is located the Botanical garden of the University of Lviv.
The area of the Park is a large - 100 ha.
As for the history, the Park was founded in 1930.
In 1940, the Park received the long-awaited title of "reserved" and became protected as national property.
Park characterised by a system of ponds, is a jewel of the Park. On the territory of pervaja hornbeam-beech forest. And also on the territory of the Park there are birch, maple, sycamore.
