Room-Museum of Taras Shevchenko opened its doors for cognitive eyes 7 March 2004. In l'viv, the Taras Shevchenko Museum - a small Museum in the great Palace of arts. They say so because, for the Museum chose the Lviv Palace of arts (street 17,Copernicus).

This room represents the library, and exhibition hall, and a Museum. After all, the Museum consists of several thematic exhibitions.

In a basis of creation of the Museum were the original works of Lviv artists, that for eight of the expedition(1997-2003) traveled the steps with his thoughts went Kobzar (Ukraine, Vilnius, St. Petersburg, Kazakhstan).

Separate exposition consists of a variety edition of «Kobzar», presented as citizens and residents of other regions of Ukraine, as well as guests from abroad.

Another exposition - medals, badges, stamps, in particular those issued by an underground mail of Ukraine in 1961.

Especially for the opening of the Museum, the artist Vsevolod the Voloshchak produced souvenir badge with the image of Taras Shevchenko.

Based on the trips through Shevchenko's places, with the participation of the artists created a large collection of photographs and a video film.

Part of the Museum is the library.

Opening hours: 10:00 - 17:00, day-off - Monday.
