Castle gardens (Zhovkva) - the Baroque garden, monument of architecture of the Renaissance, belonged to the most remarkable examples of landscape architecture on the territory of Ukraine.

Far from Zhovkva castle, at the foot of the hill, the owners of the castle created the «Menagerie» - a specific Park plot, on the green meadows of which grazed chamois and deer. Hunting was a favorite pastime of all owners of the castle town of Zhovkva and Zolkiewski and Danilovich and their grandson of king of Poland Jan III Sobieski. It is the latter, selecting jovkovski castle his own residence, transformed it to a luxury house.

Destroyed the castle is not only the time of the fire. Marble busts (among them and king of Poland Jan III Sobieski and his wife) export to St. Petersburg Tsar Peter. At least three of them still decorate the Summer garden.

Missing Zhovkva Castle gardens can be restored on the old plans during the time of the completion of the repair work in Awkowska castle.
