Lviv picture gallery, Lviv has several operating divisions. Among them lubu eyes Museum of ancient Lviv monuments. In this Museum exhibits telling about Lviv princely times.

In 1993 it was decided, on the basis of archeological research on the organization in the premises of the Church of St. John the Baptist and his courtyard of the Museum the most ancient monuments of the city.

In the Museum - archaeological finds, samples of fine art, Church relics and historical documents, which give an idea of the culture, crafts and life of the population in times of creation and development of Lviv.

The most valuable exhibit of the Museum is the icon of the mid-14th century Lviv mother of God», which is temporarily stored in the vaults of the Lviv art gallery.

Department of the gallery is open daily, except Monday.

From Wednesday to Saturday: from 11.00 to 18.00 hours (cash till 17.00 o'clock).

Tuesday and Sunday from 12.00 to 18.00 hours (cash till 17.00 o'clock).
