Vyshgorod - the administrative center of Kiev region. The city is situated on the right bank of the Dnieper River. The city area is 49.68 km ². The climate of temperate. Population of the city is 26,198 people. The first mention of the city dates from the year 946 in the "Tale of Bygone Years" as "Castle of Princess Olga". In the XI century it was buried princes Boris and Gleb - the first Russian saints. In the XIII century Vyshgorod is the largest city of Kievan Rus.
