Lviv as always original, as presented to the public in the Museum is dedicated to the oldest post in Eastern Europe and the history of the development of post business in Galicia in General. Based Museum 12 December 2008. The Fund is 100 exhibits.

The man who laid the Foundation for a modern Museum is the merchant of Italy Roberto Bandinelli, visiting Lviv. It was he bought the house and founded the classic mail the European sample.

It was ungrateful, because of dearness of postal services on the case Bandinelli "vetoed".

Palace of Bandinelli after repairs and restoration was opened in 2005.

The Museum exposition presents about a hundred of exhibits, which reflect the history of development of postal Affairs in Galicia. The history of поштарство from the 17th to 19th century is located in three halls. Most of the exhibits is a very rare, as for example, the case of the king of Sweden and Poland Sigismund III.

Among the exhibits: the old trunks, mail bags, guns, which were postmen, antimony, first greeting cards and uniform of the 30-ies of the 19th century.
